"They were all so fucking weird"

Wow I logged onto lj for the first time in weeks (months?) and found this draft lj post that I started and never finished. I like it just the way it is... any thoughts?

----------

At the end of a day of work, for the past week Dez and I have been rewarding ourselves with a DVD. His sister handed over to us a pile of "recommended" movies. They were all so fucking weird. None too alike, some were good and some were awful, but all were a relentless assault of weird. In order of when we watched them, these films are:

1. Jennifer's Body
2. The Fourth Kind
3. Triangle
4. Dark Country
5. Lake Mungo
6. 4bia

The only one I had ever heard of was Jennifer's Body, and it was actually on the loosely kept list (in my head) of movies I want to see.

My friend Sara is going to Bangkok next month, and my close friend Meche is moving back to Bangkok this week... I'm remembering this trip to Bangkok with Dezant two years ago, the last time Meche was living there. We had such a good time! Maybe we should go back to visit when Sara goes at the end of March.

Here is my set of (still) unedited and unfiltered pics from those three days in Bangkok in February 2008:
